Our Internet Journey

FrontPoint Systems can trace its beginnings to September  1995 in  New Jersey  - a time "pre-historic"  by today's new dot.com startup standards.  A time when there were scarcely a dozen dial-up Internet connections in all of Chennai.  A time when the Internet was a concept, a passing fad for most Indian companies. 

A Harvard MBA from USA returning to India, wanted some expert advice and assistance  in launching one of  the first web-design and hosting companies in India  and also an Indian "e-zine" on the web.  Arun Shroff based in New Jersey, USA, helped him launch the site on one of the first dedicated web servers owned and operated by an Indian company in the US. 

However, this  new Internet design studio based out of India  was just a little ahead of its times.  The promise  of this new technology sweeping across corporate America was lost on its Indian counterparts. In the meantime, FrontPoint Systems was incorporated  to provide continued technology support to the new startup and to many of the early clients in the Indian market.

FrontPoint Systems is, in this sense, a pioneer among Indian Internet companies  – and is very proud of it.  Those early years helped us sharpen our skills and increase our understanding of  the myriad new, exciting technologies that were emerging every day.

Five years is a long time in the Internet era and we have come a long way indeed as an organization !

FrontPoint Systems has grown over the last five years into a global Internet solutions company and today has offices in USA, Europe, Sri Lanka and four offices in India.

FrontPoint Systems has been guided from the start by  Arun Shroff  who has a B.Tech,  from IIT, Madras  with a MBA from IIM, Ahemdabad and a M.S. in Computer Science from Penn State USA. He has more than 20 years of experience in fields of systems design, programming, consulting, and end- to-end solutions to large corporations in the USA including fortune 500 companies.

Today, FrontPoint Systems has become a truly concept-to completion solutions company. We offer the entire range of services from conceptualizing to designing, programming, hosting  and maintaining the site to its global clients.
